BETWEEN MOTION AND STILL:
THE COLOR PINK
The vines of Bougainvillea: Something so ordinary, yet vividly inspiring. I spent days filming local flowers back in India, all in search for the most exquisite bloom. Little did I know, a morning stroll through neighbouring farms would bestow on me - the elegance of Bougainvillea bushes.
Accompanied by my little brother or the way he likes to call him - my personal assistant/model, we stumbled upon the untamed pink vines. The morning breeze rendered peaceful flowers into motion.
After some thought, I took two pictures, one perfectly tranquil and one with frenzied movement. I overlayed these two photographs to create unison of motion and stillness in a single frame.

The project centres on bringing closer my two beloved genres of photography - Fine Art and Street. The double exposures contain elements of street representing motion, complemented by the subtle elements of fine art.
